Overview

National Debt Relief's Senior Product Manager owns a portfolio of customer-facing and operational products that shape how clients experience their debt relief journey and how our internal teams support them. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, engineering, and data — leading problem definition, prioritization, and end-to-end delivery for complex, system-driven workflows that directly impact client outcomes and business KPIs.

You'll focus on the post-sale client journey — supporting our Client Success and Client Loyalty teams as they help clients stay on program and reach graduation.

As a senior member of the product team, you'll set direction within your domain, raise the bar for product craft across the organization, and partner directly with engineering, operations, and senior leadership to deliver measurable impact at scale.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Core Responsibilities
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for your domain, grounded in deep understanding of the NDR customer journey, operational workflows, and supporting systems.
  • Define and communicate a compelling 6–12-month vision for your domain that connects business goals, customer outcomes, and platform investments.
  • Identify, frame, and prioritize business problems and opportunities — balancing operational efficiency, customer impact, compliance, and technical feasibility.
  • Own the problem-to-solution lifecycle: discovery, analysis, requirements, delivery, and post-release evaluation.
  • Partner with engineering to design practical, scalable technical solutions aligned with NDR's system architecture and long-term platform strategy.
  • Make and defend the hard product calls — scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs — with senior stakeholders and engineering leadership.
  • Hold yourself accountable to measurable business outcomes — defining success metrics upfront and driving the team toward them post-launch.
  1. Stakeholder & Delivery Leadership
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across business, operations, compliance, data, and engineering — bringing structure to ambiguous problems and driving teams toward shared decisions.
  • Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and outcomes to executive stakeholders, including translating technical complexity into business-relevant narratives.
  • Produce high-quality PRDs and engineering-ready artifacts that engineers can act on with minimal back-and-forth — including success metrics, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.
  • Act as the day-to-day product partner for engineering: answering questions, refining requirements, and providing final sign-off on delivered work.
  • Drive adoption and change management for delivered work, partnering with operations leaders to ensure agents and teams are trained, equipped, and bought in.
  1. Process & Systems Thinking
  • Maintain clear representations of current and future state workflows to support decision-making, development, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Partner with engineering and architecture to shape NDR's long-term platform strategy, balancing near-term delivery with long-term scalability and maintainability.
  • Identify systemic patterns across initiatives — pushing for reusable platform investments rather than one-off solutions where appropriate.
  1. Team & Function Leadership
  • Raise the bar for product craft — coaching peers on discovery, requirements quality, and stakeholder management.
  • Embrace AI-driven development — actively look for opportunities to improve processes, quality, and team velocity by leveraging agentic workflows and tools.
  • Contribute to product team standards, processes, and rituals that improve how we work.
  • Help interview and onboard new product team members.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, analytical, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of Product Management experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of owning a product domain end-to-end and delivering measurable business impact.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, debt relief, lending, or another regulated, operationally complex industry strongly preferred.
  • Fluent in agile delivery — can run sprint ceremonies, manage a backlog, and adapt the process when it isn't serving the team.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven ability to analyze complex systems, identify root causes, and architect high-impact improvements that go beyond surface-level fixes.
  • Comfortable working with highly customized CRM or operational platforms (Salesforce or similar). Direct Salesforce experience is a strong plus but not required — we'll prioritize candidates who can demonstrate they ramp quickly on complex platforms and partner effectively with engineers on technical tradeoffs.
  • Sound product judgment — knows when to dig deeper, when to ship, and when to say no.
  • Hands-on experience building or leveraging agentic workflows, with deep familiarity using AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent.
  • Track record of bringing structure to ambiguous, fast-moving problems and driving them to resolution.
  • Strong data fluency — can write SQL or partner deeply with analysts, set up dashboards, and use data to validate hypotheses and measure outcomes.
  • Strong customer empathy — actively talks to users (agents and clients), observes workflows, and grounds decisions in qualitative as well as quantitative evidence.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — can write a tight PRD, run a productive workshop, and present a recommendation to executives with equal effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels — from individual engineers to executive stakeholders — and drive alignment across competing priorities.
  • Bias toward action, learning, and continuous improvement.

National Debt Relief Role Qualifications:

  • Computer competency and ability to work with a computer.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Punctuality expected, ready to report to work on a consistent basis.
  • Attain and maintain high performance expectations on a monthly basis.
  • Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Use and navigate multiple computer systems with exceptional multi-tasking skills.
  • Remain calm and professional during difficult discussions.
  • Take constructive feedback.
  • Available for full-time position.
