Overview

National Debt Relief is seeking a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist to support the scaling of the company’s experimentation efforts across high-impact digital experiences. This role plays a critical part in driving performance improvements across landing pages, lead capture flows, and the broader customer funnel through structured testing, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

 

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, exceptional organization, and a systems-oriented mindset. They are comfortable working with data, identifying patterns, and translating insights into actionable recommendations that improve performance. The Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist will contribute to the full experimentation lifecycle, including hypothesis generation, project coordination, quality assurance, and results analysis. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and implementation of experiments and supports decision-making through data driven insights.

 

Responsibilities

Experiment Generation

  • Contribute to the development of research-driven hypotheses for all types of high-traffic heavy business impact pages, including but not limited to landing pages, lead capture pages, lead nurture pages, and summary pages.
  • Produce low-fidelity design mockups and briefs for team specialists and executive sponsors.
  • Support the development of roadmaps (a series of connected hypotheses) specific to channel source, product entry point and even device type (mobile, desktop, tablet).
  • Provide regular feedback on proposed hypotheses and recommend improvements based on performance insights.

Project Management and Collaboration (Copy, Compliance, Design and Dev)

  • Coordinate and optimize processes, such as handoffs between channel owners and team specialists (i.e. from channel owner to copy & compliance, from design to development).
  • Manage and prioritize ticket requests in JIRA and other PM systems that are connected to CRO experiments and application funnel maintenance.
  • Coordinate winning experience stress tests and final implementation for live production AND for company templates (such as design and development).
  • Support the Director of Conversion Rate Optimization on special project deliverables and timelines involving Copy, Compliance, Creative, Media, and Operations.
  • Collaborate and conduct discovery with other experimentation / research team members, department stakeholders and product funnel stakeholders

Quality Assurance

  • Run device-level quality assurance checks on experiment treatments and new product launch experiences.
  • Ensure splitting software is operating according to instructions and escalate or recommend adjustments when issues are identified.

Data Monitoring, Analysis and Documentation

  • Regularly interact with data in internal and external reporting systems, both legacy and new.
  • Analyze data from tools such as AB Tasty, Salesforce, Sigma, FullStory, Google Analytics 4 to identify trends, patterns, and performance insights.
  • Transfer summary data from reporting UIs + excel sheets into project management software and alignment deliverables.
  • Maintain documentation of completed tests and keep visual scorecards up to date.
  • Summarize test results for cross-team germination and evangelism and translate items into actionable insights to inform future business decisions.
  • Monitor funnel data values on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for patterns, learnings, and future iterations.
    • Absolute KPI percentages to detect breaks, anomalies and shifting channel motivation levels
    • Relative KPI percentages to understand wins, losses and standard variation
  • Monitor for validity threats such as sample size distortion, history effect, selection, and instrumentation effects.
  • Explore and execute AI efficiency use cases for data assembly, base threshold analysis and experimentation writeups.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, internship, or hand-on experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Bachelor's degree in applied psychology, marketing communications or business (with marketing emphasis), preferred.
  • Prior experience / exposure to a regulated industry is a plus. (finance, healthcare, etc.)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong analytical ability to collect, organize, visualize, and assimilate data, see patterns, draw conclusions, and find solutions that boost performance.
  • A systems-orientation to create and/or align with highly organized, repeatable processes and systems that methodically deliver sustained success efficiently.
  • Intermediate experience with Excel/Numbers and presentation software.
  • Meticulously organized with the ability to manage large amounts of data with precision.
  • An ownership mentality with a relentless inner drive to excellence and stewardship.
  • A perceptive listener who quickly synthesizes info and can formulate a methodical action plan that can be clearly articulated verbally and in writing.
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for building meaningful relationships.

National Debt Relief Role Qualifications:

  • Computer competency and ability to work with a computer.

  • Available for full-time position, overtime eligible if classified non-exempt.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $62,000 to $71,500 annually.
