Overview

National Debt Relief is seeking a Director of Organic to lead and grow the company’s organic digital presence across search, social media, influencer marketing, and reputation management. This role is responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and execution plan across all organic channels. Focusing on developing and scaling a best-in-class organic content strategy that drives growth, builds brand affinity, and fosters long-term engagement and trust.

 

The ideal candidate brings a mix of strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and channel expertise. This individual is comfortable leading a team, collaborating across departments, and using data to guide decisions.

 

The Director of Organic will play a key role in shaping how our brand shows up across every platform we don’t pay to play in, ensuring our content is cohesive, authentic, and impactful across the organic ecosystem.

 

Responsibilities

Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and lead the strategy for all organic channels including Search (SEO and AI search), Organic Social, Influencer Marketing, and Reputation Management, grounded in a cohesive Organic Content Strategy that ladders up to broader brand and growth objectives.
  • Manage a cross-functional team responsible for channel execution and performance, ensuring alignment with content goals, creative direction, and audience intent.
  • Set priorities, define objectives, and build workflows that support consistent and efficient delivery of content and campaigns across all organic surfaces.

Channel Ownership

  • Lead efforts to improve visibility and performance in organic and AI-driven search environments through content-driven SEO strategies.
  • Oversee strategy, planning, and publishing for Organic Social across all active platforms and emerging channels, ensuring content is relevant, resonant, and on-brand.
  • Develop influencer program strategy, from identifying and engaging creators to approving content and measuring performance, ensuring influencer content aligns with organic content goals.
  • Own online reputation management efforts and shape content strategies to protect and strengthen the brand’s credibility and trustworthiness.

Performance and Reporting

  • Define and track success metrics for all organic efforts, with clear performance KPIs tied to content effectiveness, reach, and engagement.
  • Build regular reporting cadences that communicate channel health, content trends, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Partner with analytics and media teams to understand the broader impact of organic content and performance, and to inform integrated planning and investment decisions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Creative, Product Marketing, Paid Media, and Legal teams to ensure brand consistency and compliance across all content.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on organic behavior, content strategy, and platform trends to help guide content development across the organization and ensure it serves both brand and performance needs.

Innovation and Best Practices

  • Stay up to date on platform changes, audience behavior, and digital trends to keep the company ahead of the curve in content strategy and organic engagement.
  • Test new content formats, platforms, and partnerships that can drive growth, engagement, and brand relevance.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on organic growth channels.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading teams or managing multiple functional areas.
  • Demonstrated success in driving performance across SEO, Organic Social, and Content Strategy.
  • Prior experience in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, etc.) is a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in SEO and AI search mechanics, including content structure and optimization.
  • Proven ability to develop compelling organic content strategy.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in setting KPIs and using data to make decisions.
  • A collaborative spirit and a passion for building meaningful relationships.

  • Available for full-time position, overtime eligible if classified non-exempt.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $153,500 to $176,500 annually.
