Overview

The HCM Analyst will support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of National Debt Relief’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role will assist in system configuration, user support, data integrity, and reporting, ensuring that the platform aligns with business and HR requirements. Reporting to the HCM Manager, the HCM Analyst will collaborate with HR, IT, and external vendors to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and drive system efficiencies.

 

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 12 to 18 months. While there is no guarantee of extension or conversion to a permanent role, opportunities may be considered based on business needs and individual performance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily administration and maintenance of the HCM system to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform basic system configurations, user access management, and system troubleshooting.
  • Support system updates, patches, and upgrades in collaboration with IT and external vendors.
  • Conduct regular system health checks to maintain system reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Assist with data imports, exports, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain compliance with data security and privacy regulations, including GDPR, HIPAA, and internal policies.
  • Support the HCM Manager in maintaining data integrity and auditing system records.
  • Provide technical support to HR and other system users, responding to inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Help create and maintain training materials and user guides to enhance system knowledge.
  • Assist in training sessions for HR, managers, and employees to improve system adoption.
  • Support system integration efforts, ensuring seamless data flow between HCM and other HR platforms.
  • Assist in report development and data analysis, generating insights for HR decision-making.
  • Identify and recommend process automation opportunities to improve system efficiency.
  • Participate in HCM system transition projects, assisting with system testing and implementation.
  • Support the HCM Manager in managing system upgrades, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
  • Help drive change management efforts by addressing user concerns and ensuring smooth adoption of new features.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

2 years of experience working with HRIS or HCM platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors, Dayforce). Dayforce preferred.

Exposure to HR processes, including payroll, recruitment, benefits, and talent management.

Experience with HR reporting tools, data analysis, and system administration is a plus.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong understanding of HRIS/HCM architecture, system integrations, and data management.

Experience with HR and IT reporting tools, data analytics, and process automation.

Proven ability to manage large-scale HR technology projects, working cross-functionally with HR, IT, and business leaders.

Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools

Ability to assess complex systems and workflows, recommending data-driven solutions.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage stakeholders

Experience in developing user training materials and leading system adoption initiatives.

PMP, PHR, SHRM-CP, or HRIP certification preferred or other certifications

HCM Implementation experience preferred

Knowledge of HR compliance, payroll integrations, and talent management systems.

This is a temporary position, expected to last 6 months with the potential for a conversion to a full time opportunity.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $70,000 to $85,000.
