Overview

National Debt Relief is seeking a technical Director of IT Infrastructure to join our growing technology team.  Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for the strategic direction of the IT Infrastructure and IT security in support of business needs.  The role will lead a team of System Administrators, System Engineers and Network Engineers in the architecture, design, installation and maintenance of IT Infrastructure systems across multiple physical and cloud locations. The Director of IT Infrastructure works closely with IT and business teams to align IT initiatives with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, operation and maintenance of all IT infrastructure across multiple physical and cloud sites
  • Manage a team of System Administrators, System Engineers and Network Engineers, providing technical leadership, delegation of responsibility and identifying and providing staff development
  • Research, propose and implement enhancements to the IT infrastructure to meet company objectives
  • Responsible for the delivery of Infrastructure projects on time and within budget
  • Monitor network and systems performance and resource utilization, ensuring system availability and reliability. Perform capacity planning and propose solutions as needed
  • Develop relationships with key business leaders to identify gaps in services and propose solutions
  • Create and implement policies and procedures to maintain the efficient operation of NDR’s Infrastructure
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team to improve and enhance IT Security
  • Work alongside the CIO to develop of IT goals, objectives and priorities
  • Manage the IT Change Management process and ensure all changes are recorded and approved
  • Implement, maintain and test IT Disaster Recovery plans in support of the Business Continuity Plan
  • Manage third party relationships and work within procurement process and budget
  • Compile weekly, quarterly and annual reports and metrics. Report out of KPI’s to Chief Information Officer
  • Research and recommend solutions and tools; perform proof of concepts and vendor comparisons
  • Keep up to date on current technologies, industry news, vulnerabilities, standards and industry trends
  • Periodic travel and infrastructure changes after hours will be required

Qualifications

  • 10+ years proven hands on engineering experience designing, building and maintaining technology infrastructure
  • 5+ years in IT management positions of increasing responsibility
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Financial Services industry experience is a plus
  • Expert proficiency in the architecture, engineering and operation of all systems and network infrastructure across multiple physical and cloud sites
  • Expert proficiency in Active Directory architecture, support, and administration
  • Extensive experience managing public cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS)
  • Experience supporting all aspects of Windows Server across a physical and virtual (VMware) environment, including installation, configuration, patching, security hardening and storage/capacity planning
  • Strong experience with change management methodologies and familiarity with industry standards (ITIL, NIST)
  • Experience with cloud-based identity management infrastructure
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining MDM solutions
  • Experience managing and maintaining IT Service Management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing IT strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, growth-oriented culture
  • Classified as a full-time position with 8-hour workdays and 40-hour work weeks plus overtime as needed 
  • Role requires the use of a computer, including use of a keyboard and ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $181,000 to $228,000 annually.
