We are seeking a top-tier Senior Programmatic Media Strategist to take full ownership of our Display and Native program. This hands-on role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in direct response-focused lead generation within industries characterized by long offline sales cycles using platforms like The Trade Desk, Taboola, Yahoo DSP, and others.
The ideal candidate will excel in both tactical execution and strategic development, driving channel growth through in-platform optimization, high-level strategy formulation, and a robust testing roadmap. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the website CRO team, sales team, and both internal and external creative resources to optimize the full marketing funnel and deliver exceptional performance.

• Programmatic Channel Ownership
o Develop, execute, and optimize large-scale programmatic campaigns across platforms like The Trade Desk, Taboola, Yahoo DSP and others.
o Scale Native and Display channels, transforming them into reliable, high-volume lead sources.
o Understand advanced tracking solutions (e.g., S2S integrations) to measure offline sales outcomes and tie them back to ad performance.
o Manage budgets effectively, ensuring campaigns meet ROI and CPA targets.
o Understand how Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and incrementality testing can be leveraged to optimize programmatic ads beyond direct attribution.
o Work with Finance to leverage incrementality testing methods to optimize campaign effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Work closely with Web, CRO, and Sales teams to monitor and optimize the full funnel and test landing pages.
o Collaborate with internal and external creative resources to develop direct-response focused ads that drive performance.
• Competitive Research & Strategy Development
o Conduct thorough competitive analysis to understand industry trends and strategies.
o Inform and adapt our approach to stay ahead in the market.
• Analytics and Reporting
o Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and leverage insights to drive continuous improvement and scalability.
o Candidates with experience communicating results to senior leadership teams are strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in programmatic advertising, focusing on direct-response ads in lead-gen industries with long offline sales cycles (ideally in the financial services industry)
• Must have experience scaling to large programmatic ads accounts that spend over $1MM/month on paid media.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including creative, web design, and conversion rate optimization specialists.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, attribution models, and incrementality testing.
• A history of managing budgets effectively to achieve ROI and CPA goals.
• Candidates who have experience working both in-house and at agencies are preferred.
• Expertise in Programmatic Media Buying Platforms
o Extensive experience managing campaigns on platforms like The Trade Desk, Taboola, and other programmatic or native ad platforms.
o Deep understanding of data-driven marketing and performance optimization.
o Proven ability to scale campaigns effectively while meeting ROI and CPA goals.
• Analytical & Technical Proficiency
o Strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data and apply them to campaign strategies.
o Expertise in utilizing advanced tracking solutions, such as server-to-server (S2S) integrations, to measure offline sales outcomes.
o Familiarity with A/B testing, attribution models, and customer journeys, and geo-holdout incrementality testing.
o Proficiency in using analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Strategic & Collaborative Mindset

o Ability to develop high-level strategies while executing tactical plans
o Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including CRO, Sales, and creative resources
