The Learning and Development Trainer will create, develop, implement, and conduct training and development programs for employees.

• Creates, organizes, plans, and presents various forms of onboarding, orientation, and skills training for employees.
• Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills.
• Presents training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, lecture, simulations, and videos.
• Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, team leads, and agents.
• Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
• Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements.
• Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
• Maintains knowledge of the latest trends in learning and development.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 3 years+ experience in L&D required, with an emphasis on virtual instruction preferred.
• 1 year experience in developing content preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Strong coaching/mentoring skills.
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
• Ability to implement effective training and development.
• Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
• Computer competency and ability to work with a computer.
• Prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Punctuality expected, ready to report to work on a consistent basis.
• Attain and maintain high performance expectations on a monthly basis.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
• Use and navigate multiple computer systems with exceptional multi-tasking skills.
• Remain calm and professional during difficult discussions.
• Take constructive feedback.
• Available for full-time position, overtime eligible if classified non-exempt.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $31.25 to $37.75 hourly.
