Overview

This position will work as the liaison between the accounting team and various National Debt Relief departments for process flow adherence and optimization within the core vendor management systems. This role will require interdepartmental communication and collaboration to ensure all spend goes through proper approval channels.

Responsibilities

Credit cards:

  • Monitor creation of virtual cards
  • Monitor GL codes properly align with spend categories.
  • Reach out to card holders to confirm all invoices and receipts are being properly reported.
  • Manage additions/removals of individuals in budget categories.
  • Alert Manager when new vendor virtual card requests occur from stakeholders.
  • Monthly expense reconciliation.
  • Education sessions for new platform users.
  • Invoice Management:
    • Work with stakeholders to push invoices through the system.
    • Code and route invoices to appropriate parties.
    • Monitor due dates to ensure invoices are paid timely.
    • Education sessions for new platform users. 

Contract Management:

  • Monitor approval workflows to ensure contracts are executed timely and all parties are aware on contract status.
  • Monitor contract renewals and terminations and working with stakeholders that wish to renew contracts.
  • Work as the liaison between Information Security, Compliance, Legal, and Accounting/Finance.
  • Education sessions for new platform users.
  • Vendor Renewals:
    • Alert departments on pending renewals and terminations.
    • Work with departments and Finance on benchmarking renewal costs and competitor pricing.
    • Work with Finance on the use of procurement software.
    • Additional vendor related initiatives as determined by the business.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
  • 3 years’ experience working in vendor management and/or accounting systems required.
  • Prior background in bookkeeping or project management preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and process aptitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and a history of delivering results in a cross-functional organization.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, Stampli, and Divvy systems preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a startup environment preferred.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $24.50-$29.50.
