Overview

National Debt Relief is seeking a passionate, hands-on and highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers making tools to help get customers out of debt. In this role, you’ll manage a team of developers and administrators create tools using a variety of technologies, including Salesforce, AWS, and Wordpress. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, a curious problem solver, and a collaborative leader who thrives in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of up to 10 product and engineering team members of various skillsets, including hosting 1:1s, facilitating performance reviews, onboard new team members, etc.
  • Gauge progress of various projects to ensure work is moving forward by removing any roadblocks the team is facing.
  • Communicate effectively to work cohesively with other engineering teams, product management, and business stakeholders.
  • Review work from team for technical accuracy.
  • Identify process opportunities and work with team on improving for maximum efficiency.
  • Coordinate larger bodies of work with other engineering teams and senior leadership.
  • Flexible and creative in problem solving and identifying process improvements. 
  • Have fun, get creative, and deliver value together with the whole team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience leading a team of engineers.
  • 5+ years experience with Salesforce.
  • ​Experience working in financial services industry is a plus.​
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with strong ability to manage and deliver through clear communication and expectation setting. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with both technical and non-technical roles.
  • Ability to problem solve quickly to keep team’s assigned work on track.
  • Development or administrative skills in Salesforce in order to understand and scope projects at a high level.
  • Classified as a full-time position with 8-hour workdays and 40-hour work weeks plus overtime as needed 
  • Role requires the use of a computer, including use of a keyboard and ability to look at a computer screen for extended periods of time

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $166K to $205K
