Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, determined, and experienced Director of Account Management & Partner Portfolio Optimization to lead Partner Account Management. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, gritty, strategic, and possess an analytical personality, with a proven track record of success in growing partner relationships and driving material revenue growth. In this role, you will oversee a team, develop and execute strategic partner plans, and drive business development initiatives to grow our existing partner base.

Responsibilities

  •  Lead and mentor a team of account managers - providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Post onboarding, manage new and existing accounts by leveraging all necessary levers to maximize efficient growth.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of partner performance and identify areas of opportunity to improve KPIs.
  • Develop and implement strategic partner plans to drive revenue growth and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key partners - understanding their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Drive business development efforts to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product, to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives.
  • Use statistical analysis, data visualization skills, and creative skills such as copywriting, content strategy and storytelling, to communicate your findings effectively.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to promote our brand and offerings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, marketing, or related field required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10 years’ experience in account management or sales within financial services required, with 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Highly analytical, numbers oriented.
  • Strong understanding of funnel metrics, KPIs, and unit economics.
  • Strong evaluation skills along with execution savvy.
  • Expert knowledge of incremental investment and growth scenarios.
  • Outstanding grasp of marketing resources and assets that can be pooled between brand and partner to create new opportunities.
  • Expert grasp of sales, marketing, finance, and rev ops disciplines involved in driving revenue.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets in a highly competitive and aggressive market.
  • Strong command of industry, competitors, and market forces.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-starter, with hustle and drive.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $165,000 to $207,000.
