Overview

National Debt Relief (NDR) is seeking a seasoned, hands-on, and highly motivated Senior Salesforce Administrator to join our team. This individual will work on an existing Salesforce implementation, leveraging agile principles and scrum framework to break down stories and deliver scalable solutions using modern Salesforce best practices. Our ultimate objective is to help our clients achieve their goals.


The successful candidate will be a passionate Salesforce expert, an excellent communicator, a curious problem solver, and a collaborative teammate who is eager to learn and help others grow on the team. The candidate must be comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical audiences and have a solid track record of deploying projects at scale. You will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure our Salesforce platform meets the needs of the business today while building a scalable foundation for our future.


This remote position is part of our Product & Development business unit and will entail hands-on configuration that follows modern Salesforce best practices for well-architected configuration in collaboration with our growing team of Salesforce professionals. This critical position will allow the NDR product team to deliver meaningful agent and customer experiences. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop elegant and well architected no code solutions on the Salesforce platform that deliver business value.
  • Responsible for ongoing development, maintenance and support of existing Salesforce-related systems, integrations, and platforms.
  • Breakdown requirements into work that can be completed with quality in a consistent manner leveraging appropriate Salesforce technologies such as Flows, Lightning App Builder, Profiles & Perm sets, Object Manager, and more.
  • Seek to understand deeply and ask questions before building to ensure we are building the right thing that will scale; measure twice and cut (code) once philosophy.
  • Enhance existing architecture and optimize performance for scale of platform through the application of evolving administration best practices, tools, release notes, and trends.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and subject matter experts to understand their business processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Develop and participate in quality related tasks like config review and available testing standards to ensure exquisite defect free features are delivered while also learning from others and enabling others to learn from you.
  • Deploy quality config in accordance with our SDLC and DevOps process and best practices.
  • Contribute to evolving best practices for frameworks, security, compliance, data model, logic, and more for multiple custom applications.
  • Author and maintain appropriate system documentation including technical requirements, process flows, use cases, descriptions, help text, procedures, and more.
  • Have fun, get creative, and deliver value together with the whole team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 7 years of practical hands-on experience with Salesforce platform in an enterprise technology environment required.
  • Practical hands-on experience with Salesforce Org migrations/merges with diverse user groups, workflows and custom applications is a plus.
  • Hands on experience leveraging non-core, non-SFDC and/or AppExchange tooling is a plus – such as Shield Event Monitoring, CRM Analytics, Digital Experiences, CI/CD, Automated testing, Backup, Archival, Seeding, Masking, etc.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with ability to translate complex items into clear, concise, and simple terms for technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge and skills with Salesforce non-code development tools and frameworks; including Flows, Lightning App builder, Object Manager, Profiles & Permission Sets, in-app guidance, reports & dashboards, general setup & configuration. Case Management and Sales Enablement is a plus.
  • Sophisticated skill in solution design, architecting for scale, and strategic problem solving, including expert level understanding of order of execution and governor/platform limits.
  • Exceptionally organized with meticulous attention to detail, in a fast paced, and interdependent work environment that leverages Agile principles, process, and tools like Jira/Confluence.
  • Understanding of Salesforce evolving DevOps tooling.
  • Reasonable understanding of UX principles. You don’t have to be a designer, but you should be able to differentiate between a good and bad design.

Compensation Information

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $135,000.00 to $163,000.00
